The Utility Wind Integration Group (UWIG) believes in respecting and maintaining the privacy of our members, attendees of our meetings, and visitors to our web sites. What information do we gather and how do we use it?
We collect information about your visits including domains, browsers, and pages accessed on our web sites to enhance the experience of our web sites and to determine which portions of our web sites are most popular, and to determine the effectiveness of search engines and promotional measures. When you send us an e-mail, we will retain the content of the e-mail, your e-mail address, and our response in order to handle any follow-up questions you may have. We also use it to measure how effectively we address your concerns.

Our meeting registration service provider, RegOnline has in place a stringent Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on their web site. RegOnline has procedures in place to maintain the privacy and security of personal information collected in the process of registering for our meetings. As a safety precaution, we do not allow RegOnline to store credit card numbers for meeting registrations and any credit card or other payment information collected by UWIG personnel for meeting registrations or dues payments is secured.

UWIG has strict guidelines to avoid sending unwanted mailings or "spam," to visitors of its web sites. We send out mailings to subscribers of our E News, attendees of our meetings, and those individuals who have requested to be placed on our mailing lists. Any other e-mails sent out are part of regular communication with individuals sending correspondence to us.
