Utility Wind Integration Group Privacy PolicyThe Utility Wind Integration Group (UWIG) believes in respecting and maintaining the privacy of our members, attendees of our meetings, and visitors to our web sites. As a visitor to UWIG web sites, we recognize the importance of protecting your personal information. We will ensure that our relationship is as exclusive as you want it to be. This Privacy Statement outlines the information we will collect and how it will be used. What information do we gather and how do we use it?We collect information about your visits including domains, browsers, and pages accessed on our web sites to enhance the experience of our web sites and to determine which portions of our web sites are most popular, and to determine the effectiveness of search engines and promotional measures. Our meeting registration service provider, RegOnline has in place a stringent Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on their web site. RegOnline has procedures in place to maintain the privacy and security of personal information collected in the process of registering for our meetings. As a safety precaution, we do not allow RegOnline to store credit card numbers for meeting registrations and any credit card or other payment information collected by UWIG personnel for meeting registrations or dues payments is secured. What are cookies and how do you use them?A cookie is a small file stored on your computer's hard drive, which is used to enhance your visit to our web sites and provide you with information tailored to your needs.
