This event is the fifth meeting under the UWIG Turbine Operations & Maintenance Users Group's new scope, membership requirements, and participation limitations. The morning of April 13 will consist of a Plenary Session open to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations. The Plenary Session at this meeting will focus on wind turbine and wind plant safety. The afternoon of April 13 and morning of April 14 will consist of vendor product-specific Roundtable Forums for user group members only. The format consists of open discussions, moderated by a Roundtable chair, centered on a specific wind turbine component or specific model of wind turbine. The Roundtable provides the opportunity for frank and open discussion among users, who share their information, knowledge and experience. The Vestas Roundtable and the GE Roundtable will meet on April 13 and the Siemens and TBD Roundtable will meet April 14. There will be a networking reception held the evening of April 13. 

Attendees will have the opportunity on April 14 to undertake a technical tour during the afternoon. Moventas, a leading manufacturer of gearboxes for wind turbines, has a service facility in Portland. This tour is open to wind turbine owners and operators only. Attendance is limited to 20 individuals and the tour is now full.

Please mention Utility Wind Integration Group (UWIG) to get the rate of $139 per night ($149 for upgrade to an Executive Room) plus applicable taxes. This block has expired as well, but the rate will continue to be honored on a space-available basis.

Meeting Registration

On-line registration will be made available upon request to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations - send e-mail to info@uwig.org to request the registration link. Note that registration for the other user group meetings, as well as the Spring Technical Workshop, will be conducted separately. All registrations will be confirmed via e-mail upon receipt if a valid e-mail address is provided.

Cancellations and Refunds

All registration cancellations and requests for refunds of registration fees must be submitted to UWIG in writing.

Requests received by April 8 - receive refund less $25 administrative fee.

Requests received after April 8 - receive refund less $125 administrative fee.

Registrants who have not paid by April 8 will need to make arrangements to pay in advance via credit card or risk having their registrations cancelled.
