This event is the third meeting under the UWIG Turbine Operations & Maintenance Users Group's new scope, membership requirements, and participation limitations. The morning will consist of a Plenary Session open to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations. The Plenary Session at this meeting will focus on SCADA and turbine/plant control systems. The afternoon session will consist of vendor product-specific Roundtable Forums for user group members only. The format will consist of open discussions, moderated by a Roundtable chair, centered on a specific wind turbine component or specific model of wind turbine. The Roundtable will provide the opportunity for frank and open discussion among users, who will share their information, knowledge and experience. The Vestas Roundtable and the GE Roundtable will meet and work will begin to organize a roundtable focusing on Siemens machines. 

Attendees will have the opportunity on April 1 to tour Gamesa Technology Corporation's nearby manufacturing facility. This tour is available to individuals who are affiliated with utilities, system operators, developers, government employees, consultants, and university faculty/students, but not other turbine or component manufacturers. Registration for this tour is limited in size and participants must be cleared by UWIG and Gamesa management. Registration for this tour closed March 23.

Attendees should mention the group code UTI to receive the group rate of $159 plus applicable taxes. Please note that the group room block has expired and the rate is being honored on a space-available basis.

Meeting Registration

On-line registration will be made available upon request to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations - send e-mail to info@uwig.org to request the registration link. Note that registration for the other user group meetings, as well as the Spring Technical Workshop, will be conducted separately. All registrations will be confirmed via e-mail upon receipt if a valid e-mail address is provided.

Cancellations and Refunds

All requests for refunds must be submitted to UWIG in writing.

Requests received by March 25 - receive refund less $75 administrative fee.

Requests received by March 30 - receive refund less $125 administrative fee.

Unless there are extreme circumstances, no refunds will be made for cancellations received after March 30 or for no-shows.

Registrants who have not paid by March 25 will need to make arrangements to pay in advance via credit card or risk having their registrations cancelled.
