This event will be the sixth meeting under the UWIG Turbine Operations & Maintenance Users Group's new scope, membership requirements, and participation limitations. The morning of September 23 will consist of a Plenary Session open to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations. The Plenary Session at this meeting will focus on generators. The afternoon of September 23 and morning of September 24 will consist of vendor product-specific Roundtable Forums for user group members only. The format consists of open discussions, moderated by a Roundtable chair, centered on a specific wind turbine component or specific model of wind turbine. The Roundtable provides the opportunity for frank and open discussion among users, who share their information, knowledge and experience. The Vestas Roundtable and the GE Roundtable will meet on September 23 and the Siemens Roundtable and Clipper/Mitsubishi Roundtable will meet September 24. There will be a networking reception held the evening of September 23. 

Attendees will have the opportunity on September 24 to undertake a technical tour during the afternoon. Participants will tour TECO-Westinghouse's manufacturing facility in Round Rock, Texas. This plant assembles turbines for DeWind Corporation. This tour is open to wind turbine owners and operators only and attendance is limited to 20 individuals.

Meeting Registration

On-line registration will be made available upon request to user group members and interested parties from UWIG member organizations - send e-mail to info@uwig.org to request the registration link. All registrations will be confirmed via e-mail upon receipt if a valid e-mail address is provided.

Cancellations and Refunds

All registration cancellations and requests for refunds of registration fees must be submitted to UWIG in writing.

Requests received by September 20 - receive refund less $25 administrative fee.

Requests received after September 20 - receive refund less $150 administrative fee.

Registrants who have not paid by September 20 will need to make arrangements to pay in advance via credit card or risk having their registrations cancelled.
