UWIG Meetings
UWIG organizes an annual meeting and two technical workshops per year as a main vehicle for information exchange. The meetings are open to UWIG members and sponsoring organizations, as well as additional wind-industry stakeholders. Detailed meeting records, in addition to information distributed during the meetings, are provided to all members regardless of their attendance. UWIG members receive a discount rate for registration. Meetings of the UWIG user groups are held in conjunction with these events.
UWIG also annually offers a multi-day short course on integrating and interconnecting wind into utility power systems. This course is open to members and nonmembers.
