UWIG Fall Technical Workshop
A Hawkeye View of Wind Integration
October 7-9, 2009 - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
The 2009 UWIG Fall Technical Workshop provided
attendees with an expanded perspective on the status of wind in utility systems in
the United States and other countries. The agenda on wind integration,
application, and operation on utility power systems, included topics on
forecasting applications, integration studies, distributed wind applications,
industry updates, and a session and panel on electricity markets. The workshop included
meetings of the UWIG User Groups as well as a tour of Clipper Windpower's
Turbine Works facility.
UWIG is pleased to make presentations from the session on Wind Forecasting
R&D Applications available to the public. All of the presentations from this workshop are available to employees of UWIG member organizations in the members area of this web site. For more information, please send e-mail to
