The 2007 UWIG Technical Workshop and Annual Meeting provided attendees with a global perspective on the status of wind in utility systems in the United States and other countries. The agenda, on wind integration and application on utility power systems, included topics on industry and technology developments, distributed wind and local developments, international experience, and transmission planning and policy as well as updates on wind integration studies.
