TransTECH Wind and Transmission Panels

The Utility Wind Integration Group participated in the panel "Renewables, Transmission & Distribution do Mix: Innovative Solutions to Integration" at the DistribuTECH/TransTECH 2008 conference in Tampa. This panel featured presentations by UWIG's Sandy Smith, Steven Pullins of Horizon Energy Group, and Skip McClimans of Power System Engineering. This panel was preceded by the session "Real World Case Studies of Transmission Wind Power Challenges" with participation by John Flynn of American Electric Power, Subbaiah Pasupulati of Oak Creek Energy Systems, and Warren Lasher of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas.
